This dynamic and interactive Bearing Witness “artword” engages Artist Boyd Miller to paint “Night Flight,” after listening to Danica Anderson’s stories from Bosnia for the past ten years. Boyd Miller has never traveled to Bosnia.

Boyd Miller’s “Night Flight” paints a descriptive understanding and knowing of how Gender is center to all catastrophic violence and disasters. His paint brushes the collective anguish and suffering determining how our responses can resonate deeply on how he becomes “we."

Miller in his artful potent brush strokes understands how we are all interconnected and is able to manifest culture forms with organic solidarity that include the men, never excluding the women and remembering the children; our future generations.
