Great Mother-a metaphor for Nature

The iconographic or heiroglyphic image of the Bosnian grandmother is the same iconography that decorated ancient "Old Europe" found in the former Yugoslav regions of the agricultural era.
Evolving, and reflecting the aftermath of yet another war, her Barn sustained her family through three generations of war.
The kind GrandMother said it was something so sad and heart breaking about the utilitarian use of her Barn to survive the wars that disturbs her.
